Connecting a Wired Printer on Windows:
You can connect small printers directly to your computer through Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable. To connect them, first turn on the printer and computer and connect them via the USB cable. Use the menu interface of your printer to find out the wireless network. As soon as, you find out the network, you need to select the SSID and, enter the wireless password. Your modern printer has an LCD screen, which you can use it to find the Wi-Fi setup page for entering the password. Now go to the start menu of PC and click settings option. Select the Devices option and then choose Printers & Scanners option. Choose‘Add a Printer or Scanner’ and, you will get the list of printer names. Connecting a Wired Printer on Mac:
Before connecting the printer to your Mac, ensure that you update the Mac. Check the printer is near to the Mac so that you can connect them using a cable without any tension. Turn on the printer which means plug it into the power source. Now, connect MAC to a printer using the USB port. If the MAC doesn’t have a port option, then go for buying USB-C-to-USB cable to make a connection. Also, don’t forget to turn on the MAC while doing these above steps.
The last step is to complete the installation, for which you need to click the Download and Install button. This button comes on the pop-up window of the Mac. The Mac will allow the connection to a printer when it is only compatible with it.
